È uno speciale prodotto, capace di stabilizzare il valore del pH (grado di acidità), aumentando
il KH (durezza temporanea). La durezza temporanea è infatti responsabile della stabilità
del pH, tamponando le sue oscillazioni. Ogni volta che si prepara dell’acqua marina nuova
bisognerebbe verificare il valore del KH (operazione da eseguirsi 24 ore dopo lo scioglimento
